Great potential savings in the procurement of screws and standard parts

80% of the cost for the procurement of screws and Standard parts are caused by the procurement process as demonstrated by Volker Nonnenmann in his diploma thesis.

Based on this, Nonnenmann developed various flexible concepts, with the aim of installing a self-regulating control loop without interruptions. As result, the process cost can be significantly reduced.

STOCK MANAGEMENT

Nonnenmann keeps the complete materials management in the predefined storage area for its customers

We take care of your stock management. The replenishment loop is adjusted to your needs.

Process of stock management:

  1. An employee of Nonnenmann GmbH fills your Warehouse with the articles.
  2. The employee then checks which items are missing. The items are read with the hand scanner using the bar code on the storage container.
  3. As soon as the scanner is back at Nonnenmann, the order is automatically processed.
  4. From there, the next delivery will be coordinated. The process starts again from step 1.

ORDER VIA BARCODE SCANNER

You read in required articles with a barcode scanner, put the scanner on a terminal and we deliver immediately

This concept simplifies the ordering process. You will need a hand scanner, which you can buy or lease through us to place your orders. Furthermore, your storage containers are provided with a barcode label which is freely definable for you. All data (Stock Number, Customer Number, Minimum Stock, etc.) that you and we need to ensure the proper ordering process.

Barcode scanner order procedure:

  1. The parts to be ordered are scanned and the quantity is entered.
  2. After the capture of the hand-held scanner on the Terminal is imposed, the data is read out automatically and sent via e-mail to us.
  3. The goods will be sent to you via Parcel Service. In the case of several Warehouses, delivery notes and (if desired) the Invoices are also generated separately and shipped, so that they can be assigned without any problems.

KANBAN

You put the empty storage container on a station, we fill them and place them in the designated location

Nonnenmann works with the 2 – bin Kanban system. Each container is provided with 2 containers with a barcode label. These are then transported in the form of a self-regulating control loop between the customer and Nonnenmann.

Kanban sequence:

  1. The emptied container is placed in a station
  2. For restocking, Nonnenmann brings the container back to Nonnenmann
  3. There, the containers are refilled
  4. Nonnenmann delivers to the customer
  5. And positions the container back in the intended space

Supply chain management (SCM) is a process – oriented management approach that encompasses all flows of raw materials, components, semi-finished and finished products and information along the value chain and supply chain. A resource optimization is pursued for all companies involved in the supply chain.

This can be done by various linking forms. Nonnenmann supports various e-procurement solutions based on XML data and DMEcat. Nonnenmann also offers various exchange formats such as CSV, XML, openTrans and EDI.

BILL OF MATERIAL COMMISSIONING

Order via the part list of your CAD system

Many of Nonnenmann customers work on the basis of part lists, which are created from CAD systems.  On the basis of such part lists, Nonnenmann supplies exactly the quantities that the customer needs for his/her assembly with specially developed labels.

BOM process:

  1. The customer send us a parts list as Excel, PDF, XML or CSV file.
  2. We convert the file into a Purchase Order.
  3. We pull, label and package according to the customer’s specifications.
  4. We deliver the product.
