History

Since its founding in 1989, NONNENMANN has continuously evolved: What started as a specialized trade in standard parts is now a broad portfolio of special parts, tempering systems, automation, and maintenance technology.

In parallel, investments were made in in-house production and the range of services was expanded. Today, the company has four locations on three continents and employs around 70 people.

Founding, Growth, and Expansion Abroad
NONNENMANN was founded one year before the reunification in Schorndorf and moved shortly thereafter to its current headquarters in Winterbach. By 2010, additional locations were established in the USA, China, and Serbia.
1989
- Founding of Nonnenmann GmbH in Schorndorf, Germany by Paul and Gudrun Nonnenmann
1993
- Expansion of the portfolio to include special parts
1995
- Expansion of the offerings to include Kanban, inventory management, and supply chain management
1996
- Introduction of the Professional ERP system from the software company
- Introduction of the quality management system DIN EN ISO 9001
1997
- Volker Nonnenmann joins the company
2000
- Expansion of the offerings to include plates and guide elements for tool and mold making
2003
- Expansion of the product range to include TST tempering systems
2005
- Expansion of the product portfolio to include molded components
- Opening of the branch office in Sterling Heights, USA
2007
- Expansion of the offerings to include whirl ring screws

- Opening of the branch office in Wujiang, China
- Expansion of the program to include Well-Flex hoses

- Acquisition of 50% of the shares in Jobix doo and renaming of the company to Jobix-Nonnenmann doo

Sustained growth, transition to the second generation, and continuous product innovations
At the beginning of the 2010s, Volker Nonnenmann took over the family business as the second generation. Thanks to a strong core business and some successful innovations, the company gained market share.

- Development of the new IsoForm® tool concept for hot runner injection under the leadership of the Hein GmbH design office and with the support of the Federal Ministry of Economics
2012
- Opening of the logistics center in Schorndorf, Germany
- Expansion of the program to include HeiNo standards
