Our thermal insulation panels are suitable for insulation in tool and mould making and plastic/rubber processing

Standard thickness (mm): 5, 6, 7, 8, 8.5, 10
Parallelism: 0.05 mm (on request depending on dimensions/requirements ground up to 0.03 mm)

From standard applications to high demands

GU-200, G-60/1600 and G-250
Our standard insulation boards are suitable for classic applications, e.g. for insulation between mold clamping plate and injection molding machine
G-60/1600:
Compressive strength at 23°C: 600 N/mm² and at 200°C: 280 N/mm²
Temperature resistance permanent: 210°C / temporary: 220°C
Thermal conductivity: 0.3 W/mK

The G-250 convinces with high compressive strength and can also be installed inside the mold, e.g. for thermal separation of the mold cavities from the rest of the mold structure:
Compressive strength at 23°C: 650 N/mm² and at 200°C: 450 N/mm²
Temperature resistance permanent: 250°C / short-term: 280°C
Thermal conductivity: 0.25 W/mK

External insulation

G-4000 and G-4000A
For the external insulation of the tools, insulating boards are used, which do not have to have high compressive strength, but have a very low thermal conductivity and thus better insulating properties
Suitable for applications in the high temperature range and for industrial safety as contact protection, e.g. for molds with inserts
G-4000:
Compressive strength at 23°C: 320 N/mm² and at 200°C: 110 N/mm²
Temperature resistance permanent: 200°C / short term: 250°C
Thermal conductivity: 0.12 W/mK

The G-4000A is equipped with a honeycomb structure, which forms an air cushion on the mold side and improves the insulating properties:
Compressive strength at 23°C: 100 N/mm² and at 200°C: 80 N/mm²
Temperature resistance permanent: 200°C / short term: 250°C
Thermal conductivity: 0.09 W/mK
